We just put out a whole bunch of new movies so come on in and Check Them Out! I'm going to highlight a couple more today. You may notice the critic rating meter I'm placing after each review. This is a composite rating generated by the Movie Review Query Engine (MRQE). The scale goes from 0-100 and if you click on it you will be taken to the MRQE entry for the movie which has links to all the major reviews for the movie. A great resource!
"Lake of Fire" is a documentary look at the abortion issue directed by Tony Kaye. He directed "American History X" and it took him 15 years to make this. Shot entirely in black and white it is supposed to be an insightful look at the issue from all sides.

Next is "Howards End". It's a Merchant Ivory period piece starring Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins based on the E.M Forster book. I'm highlighting this because the library just recieved three other E.M Forster based movies, "Where Angels Fear To Tread", "A Room With a View", and "A Passage to India". All are special two disc sets with lots of supplemental goodies for fans of these films to watch. These are well acted, beautifully shot, heartwrenching films that are great to watch at home.
